Sub-processors
The providers OctaPages uses to run the service, what each does with data, and where. We update this page before a new one starts handling businesses' data.
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. Who we use
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany, EU): servers, the databases (one per business) and their backups' host.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: file storage and encrypted backups (R2), content delivery, bot checks (Turnstile) and the custom domains and certificates businesses connect.
- Resend: delivery of email (invitations, codes, invoices, notices), including from a reseller's own sender domain once it is verified.
- Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. (India): payments and subscriptions. Payments a client makes to its reseller go through the reseller's own Razorpay account, not ours.
- Meta Platforms: WhatsApp Business messaging, when a business connects its WhatsApp number.
- Google LLC: push alerts to phones (Firebase Cloud Messaging, no message content) and sign-in with Google, where a person chooses it.
2. AI providers
The AI assistant is not switched on for customers yet. Before any AI provider handles a business's data we will name it here, say what it receives, and tell each business that uses the assistant.
3. Resellers
A reseller is not our sub-processor: it acts for the business it serves, under the Reseller Data Processing Addendum (https://octapages.com/reseller-data-processing), and only as a visible, removable member of that business's workspace.
4. Changes
We add or replace a sub-processor only under a contract that protects the data, and we update this page first. A business that objects to a new sub-processor can tell us at the address on the Contact page and, if we cannot resolve it, stop using the service and take its data with it.
